Henning Hahn

Henning Hahn ist Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Forschungsschwerpunkt Ethik der Globalisierung an der Universität Kassel.

Receiving his Master from UCLondon (2001), Henning teaches Political Philosophy at the Center of Global Ethics at Kassel University. He also taught Normative Political Theory at Freie Universität Berlin, where he currently teaches as a visiting professor for Practical Philosophy (2015-16). As a Research Fellow he worked in Oxford, New York and at Yale University. His research is focused on Human Rights, Global Justice, Applied Ethics (global health, economy, poverty), Pragmatist Ethics and Kant. Henning is a founding as well as board member of ASAP-Germany, where he is responsible for the research project “The Ethics of Ethical Investment”. His writings include monographs (“Moralische Selbstachtung”, 2007, “Globale Gerechtigkeit”, 2009), as well as Journal Articles on (global) justice. In 2015 he received the Habilitations-degree for his work on “Political Cosmopolitanism”.
